Frequently Asked Questions About the Funding Check
Is the funding check binding?
No. The check is non-binding guidance and does not replace an entitlement review by the Employment Agency or the Jobcenter. We clarify your entitlement reliably, free of charge, in the personal initial consultation.
Which types of funding does the check cover?
The start-up grant (ALG I), the entry allowance (basic income support, Grundsicherungsgeld, formerly Bürgergeld), AVGS start-up coaching, and, after the start-up, BAFA-funded business consulting and suitable financing routes.
What do the check and the initial consultation cost me?
Both are free and non-binding. AVGS start-up coaching itself is 100% funded after written approval, so it is also free of charge for you.
I’m not (yet) receiving any benefit: is the check worthwhile?
Yes. Even without receiving ALG I or basic income support, we show you viable routes such as BAFA-funded consulting, development loans, and a bankable business plan.
