Receive your AVGS
You apply for the Activation and Placement Voucher (Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein, AVGS) at your Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) or Jobcenter; the AVGS is a discretionary benefit (Ermessensleistung). After written approval, you incur no costs.
Get started
As soon as the voucher is available and your Employment Agency or Jobcenter has approved participation, your application coaching starts in the JobWeg program (Z-001366-3) of the AZAV-certified UW Unternehmensweg GmbH. We work specifically on your stabilization and your career strategy.

AVGS application coaching is a certified program for professional activation that is funded by the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit). In this framework, a personal application coach works with you to reduce your individual barriers to placement. The goal is to guide you reliably into a new permanent position through targeted career planning. Your personal strengths and the requirements of the current industry are the focus.
How much does application coaching cost?
With an Activation and Placement Voucher approved in writing by your Employment Agency or Jobcenter, you pay no personal contribution: UW Unternehmensweg GmbH bills the benefit provider directly for the JobWeg program, so no private co-payment is necessary. You submit the original valid voucher to UW Unternehmensweg GmbH; the one-on-one coaching begins after the approval notice (Bewilligungsbescheid). The AVGS is a discretionary benefit; there is no legal entitlement.
Can I also do the coaching online?
Yes, we offer our application coaching online, which gives you maximum location flexibility in your job search. The digital delivery meets the same high quality standards as in-person training and is tailored specifically to modern working life. Despite the physical distance, you receive intensive support to perfect your self-presentation in video calls. This is particularly advantageous if you want to work on your professional future with flexible timing.
What belongs in compelling application documents?
A modern set includes a gap-free résumé and cover letters tailored precisely to the respective job posting. We also support you in selecting professional application photos and in presenting your previous professional experience in the best possible way. In addition, we jointly optimize your profiles on platforms such as LinkedIn to increase your digital visibility for recruiters. A coherent overall picture helps you credibly convey your expertise and your soft skills.
How does a coach help me explain gaps in my résumé?
